The marché Malik is the sportswear and trendy clothing paradise.
It owes its name to an Albanese prince came in Saint-Ouen to settle in the early 20s. It was built on a 3 000 m² garden in front of the Picolo café. This garden belonged to M. Bourdin who rented it for life to M Malik.
At that time, M Malik used it to grow his fruits and vegetables. Then he decided to follow the example of Romain Vernaison and built up 15, 30 then 110 stalls in this garden: the marché Malik was born. Here, merchants mostly sold food and old uniforms.
Today it welcomes a young public as well as artists and trendy designers.
